Without remembering the Lord's Name in meditation, a great many are drowned. ||1||Pause||
Your spouse, children, body, house and possessions - you think these will give you peace.
But none of these shall be yours, when the time of death comes. ||1||
Ajaamal, the elephant, and the prostitute committed many sins,
But still, they crossed over the world-ocean, by chanting the Lord's Name. ||2||
You have wandered in reincarnation, as pigs and dogs - did you feel no shame?
Forsaking the Ambrosial Name of the Lord, why do you eat poison? ||3||
Abandon your doubts about do's and dont's, and take to the Lord's Name.

प्रभु को याद करो, प्रभु को याद करो, ध्यान में प्रभु को याद करो, हे भाग्य के भाई-बहनों।
ध्यान में प्रभु का नाम याद किए बिना, बहुत से लोग डूब जाते हैं। || 1 || रोकें ||
आपका जीवनसाथी, बच्चे, शरीर, घर और संपत्ति - आपको लगता है कि ये आपको शांति देंगे।
लेकिन जब मृत्यु का समय आएगा तो इनमें से कोई भी तुम्हारा नहीं होगा। || 1 ||
हाथी, और वेश्या ने कई पाप किए,
लेकिन फिर भी, वे प्रभु के नाम का जाप करते हुए, विश्व-सागर के पार चले गए। || 2 ||
आप पुनर्जन्म में भटक गए हैं, सूअर और कुत्तों के रूप में - क्या आपको कोई शर्म नहीं आई?
प्रभु के अमृत नाम का विरोध करते हुए, आप जहर क्यों खाते हैं? || 3 ||
करो और न करो के बारे में अपनी शंकाओं का परित्याग करो, और प्रभु का नाम लो।
